Advantage Solutions Senior Director Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in United States

Summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking a Senior Director Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) who will shape, manage and help direct enterprise-wide initiatives, policies and enterprise communications relating to diversity and inclusion across the Advantage Solutions organization.

This role will serve as a key facilitator internally and partner externally to ensure that diversity remains a priority amongst Advantage’s executive leadership team, DE&I Board, and business units and is closely linked to the organization’s overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of facilitating change, impacting policy change, and delivering programs that support the organization's workforce diversity, equity and inclusiveness opportunities. The candidate should possess strong communication and analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategic action plans.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement DE&I-centric corporate strategies to attract, retain, develop and promote diverse talent for the enterprise

• Partner with DE&I Board to develop and communicate metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate diversity initiatives

• Serve as an advisor and subject matter expert to business leaders, DE&I Board, Employee Resource Group Leads and other vested parties through coaching, ideation and action-oriented recommendations based on experience

• Analyze talent demographics and utilize benchmarking tools to monitor data trends that will influence diversity initiatives and outcomes across both enterprise and divisional priorities

• History of success in managing DE&I initiatives at scale, preferably within organizations that have multiple portfolio companies, business units or groups

• Partner with talent acquisition teams to ensure equitable talent recruitment practices and processes are leveraged across the organization

• In partnership with talent operations teams, shape and help direct longer-range DE&I-centric initiatives including a mentorship/internship program

Qualifications:

• 10+ years Human Resources experience

• Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively across all levels of the organization

• Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation

• Strong operational and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative, team player mentality

• Possess a strong knowledge of diversity metrics, analytics and benchmarking to measure success

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level:(Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:Degree Program/Major (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration or related field)

10+ Years of experience in Human Resources

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the abilty to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
