Advantage is seeking an experienced talent leader to fill the role of Director Talent & HR Solutions HRBP reporting to the SVP Enterprise Talent Solutions. This role will develop a vison and roadmap to deliver best in class talent solutions, lead all divisional people transformation efforts and drive critical attraction, development, and retention work. This role serves as a key business partner and talent architect to executive leadership, client, customer, and operational teams and will act as the key entry point, liaison, and advisor into the business for HR Centers of Excellence as well as all other corporate services as needed.

This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies focused on talent development, succession and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and develop talent focused solutions that support business and enterprise priorities. Have a broad and flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. Be a strategic partner focused on collaborating with business leaders to troubleshoot and problem solve using data-driven, people-focused recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of HR professionals in a high growth, rapidly changing environment often without a standard playbook
Drive all succession, development, career path, and engagement programming and projects for associated division
Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of talent within the company
Analyze large data sets and develop/ implement thoughtful people plans and strategies that drive outcomes aligned with stated business priorities
Demonstrate strategic agility in a fast-paced environment by maintaining focus on strategic deliverables in high-pressure situations.
Understand the entire talent eco system; craft solutions that are thoughtful and reinforced by upstream and downstream talent programming
Operate with autonomy and utmost discretion particularly as it relates to sensitive information.
Monitor employee engagement to ensure high employee satisfaction and retention and recommend and deploy programming to improve culture, morale and productivity.
Influence leaders at varying levels through coaching to ensure manager led people strategies are consumed and practiced
Work in partnership with Enterprise or Divisional DEI teams to ensure a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all.
Review, synthesize and communicate large data sets of information from a variety of sources and apply a communication and/or delivery plan that meets the needs of supported populations.
Act as change agent in support of company policy change to support overall objectives
Qualifications
Success in this role will require influential partnership with leadership within the organization to execute the talent strategies that foster organizational growth and people effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into a talent programming and outcomes that supports stated business objectives.
Bachelor's Degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
10+ years of Human Resource Business Partner or Talent Leadership experience with a foundation of HR principles
Demonstrated experience in team leadership
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly matrixed and evolving business environment.
Working knowledge of financial models and P/Ls
Agility, diplomacy, flexibility with a strong bias for action

Position Summary
Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading and delivering best in class leadership support to the business client group and driving strategy related to human resource practices while ensuring effective support across all areas of human resources. As a skilled and experienced HR business partner, lead HR strategy with consultative leadership, functional expertise and strong execution across multiple areas of human resources including talent management, performance management, employee relations, management development, affirmative action compliance, policies and procedures, compensation or total rewards, change management and organizational effectiveness. With exceptional collaboration skills, partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) to accomplish winning strategies that move the organization forward.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
HR Strategic Business Partner (Strategic):
Align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
Serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues.
Act as employee champion and change agent.
Communicate needs proactively with HR and business management; the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions.
Develop and execute communication strategies and processes that support and/or drive change management and continuous improvement techniques.
Partner with business leaders to restructure around strategic objectives.
Understand and drives the talent needs for the business.
Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Human Resources Function and Team Management (Leadership):
Contribute as an effective member of the leadership team.
Establish partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Collaborate with HR Partners (Other HRGs, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Services), Legal, Finance and IT to deliver HR solutions that meet with needs of the business.
Lead a team of HR Generalists to deliver strong HR services and guidance to the client.
Human Resources Policy and Procedures (Subject Matter Expert):
Establish a culture of an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its mid-range plans, its organizational culture and its competition, including international responsibilities, when required.
Apply knowledge to ensure HR is implementing progressive HR practices while maintaining compliance standards.
Drive specific projects as needed and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
Human Resources Operations (Practitioner):
Lead day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Guide and coach staff to respond to complaints and line manager questions and HR needs.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports
May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
(Preferred): Master's Degree or equivalent experience
SPHR highly desirable
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business, Human Resources or related field. SPHR certification preferred
10-15+ years minimum experience and exceptional knowledge in multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
5-7 years minimum experience directing HR strategy for an organization of at 10,000+employees
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Advanced level knowledge of human resources practices and labor laws.
