Responsibilities:
Communicate strategic plans to be implemented by customer and retail teams that will achieve the client's overall sales objectives while staying within trade spend guidelines.
Attend key meetings with client team and translate into actionable priorities for the sales team.
Build strong customer relationships at mid to senior level of the Client Organization.
Meet and exceed annual revenue budget by achieving objectives and expanding Company services where applicable.
Work closely with customer teams and administration to ensure the client's proprietary trade planning system is accurate and updated.
Ensure all administrative activities are completed as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree inBusinessor equivalent job-related experience is required
Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the consumer packaged goods industry either with a manufacturer or sales agency
5 years of successfully managing budgets and forecasting, managing client expectations either personally or through a team
5 years previous experience with managing direct reports
Action-oriented results driven; Strength of managing/mining of syndicated data
Ability to exude confidence with and gain the trust of clients and internal business partners and staff

Position Summary
The Client Development Manager will lead the team for the specific client assignment. Responsible for the overall management, development, and growth of assigned markets. Achieving the clients planned objective, generating opportunity and risk assessment, generating new business opportunities, and managing the business unit operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Development
- Communicate strategic plans to be implemented by customer and retail teams that will achieve client's overall sales objectives while staying within trade spend guidelines
Client Management
Attend key meetings with client team and translate into actionable priorities for sales team
Build strong customer relationships at mid to senior level of the Client Organization
Revenue Budget Achievement
Meet and exceed annual revenue budget by achieving objectives and expanding Company services where applicable
Continuously review risks and opportunities and provide offsets to the client team for approval
Volume and Trade Spend Management
- Work closely with customer teams and administration to ensure the client's proprietary trade planning system is accurate and updated
Administrative Support
- Ensure all administrative activities are completed as necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
Indirect Reports
Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job
- Travel up to 20%
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the consumer packaged goods industry either with a manufacturer or sales agency
5 years successfully managing budgets and forecasting, managing client expectations either personally or through a team
5 years previous experience with managing direct reports

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
