Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense efficiencies.

  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional business leaders to execute initiatives.

  • Prepare accurate and insightful financial analysis to drive decision-making with the executive team.

  • Attend divisional leadership meetings and provide financial support as required.

  • Develop red-yellow-green dashboards to quickly identify divisional opportunities.

  • Create RFP pro forma P&Ls to highlight risks and opportunities of new business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree inFinance, Business or Accounting, or equivalent job-related experienceis required;MBA Degree or CPA preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Business, or Accounting

  • Consumer goods, food, and beverage or retail experience preferred

  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business

Position Summary

The Corporate Financial Analyst examines large sets of data and financial information in order to support sound financial and business recommendations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Partner with Operations to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense efficiencies

  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional business leaders to execute initiatives

  • Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process

  • Prepare accurate and insightful financial analysis to drive decision-making with the executive team

Project and Business Planning

  • Attend divisional leadership meetings and provide financial support as required

  • Review monthly financial results with senior leadership, provide clear and concise commentary to tell the story

  • Develop red-yellow-green dashboards to quickly identify divisional opportunities

  • Create RFP pro forma P&Ls to highlight risks and opportunities of new business

  • Conduct effective presentations, conference calls and on site meetings with other departments to deliver your message regarding financial impacts

  • Lead a variety of ad-hoc projects for the company

  • Create and manage projects plans

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred) MBA Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Finance, Business or Accounting, or equivalent job-related experience.

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Business, or Accounting

  • Consumer goods, food and beverage or retail experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to research and analyze data effectively

  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business

  • Strong prioritization skills

  • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment

  • Excellent customer service orientation

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
