Supervisor Retail Part Time

The Retail Supervisor Part Time position is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a leadership background who would like to grow their experience in retail. This Retail Supervisor will work closely with management and the Retail Data team to ensure the smooth running of the retail data activities. The ideal candidate will effectively provide training, mentoring, coaching, and motivation to the associates they supervise. Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Retail Data team within an assigned territory.

  • Coaching and motivating.

  • Recruiting and training.

  • Assigning/scheduling work.

  • Tracking call completions.

  • Must be available to be on call when needed and help with field work to accurately collect information on shelf in the retail environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years proven supervisory experience.

  • Experience in retail environment (grocery, drug, mass, and/or home improvement)

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must have excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.

  • Must be proactive, a good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Must be organized and detail oriented.

  • Must have strong E-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Position Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for managing the Retail Data team within an assigned territory. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, and tracking store completions.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Field / Reps Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
